A very quick end of the week message to let you know that the new Tenere 700 World Raid hard parts are now up on the website WITH new pics.
I had a busy few days mounting and photographing our gear on a very generous customer’s shiny new bike (thanks George!).
This was the first time I’d ridden the WR - it was a fun day out of the office over the Northumberland moors.
Chris and I were little and large riding through the wind on the CRF300L and the big T700 WR.
I’ve got to say, I was fairly envious of Chris as I was leaning the little CRF at 45 degrees into a howling gale - at one point I was convinced I had a flat tyre as the bike was wobbling around so much!
It was so comical I should have stopped to get a photo, but honestly I didn’t have it in me to spend a minute longer than necessary out in those conditions (not that you can tell from the pics).
The WR looked to be perfectly upright and stable so apparently, and I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but it would appear that light is not always right!
The new T700 WR crashbars and bashplate look the biz on George’s bike and the standard T700 rear side and top rack fit like a glove.
